Golf Day - Friday 4 June 2010
Another fantastic day was had again this year, with 25 teams playing and eight local businesses sponsoring our fundraising Golf Day at Victoria Golf Club in Cheltenham. Thanks again to our wonderful volunteer committee, who put in so much hard work to organise the event.
This was one of our most successful Golf Days yet; we were blessed with perfect golfing weather without a breath of wind; teams enjoyed new activities and competitions as they made their way around the course; and coffee was supplied on the course to help ward off the chills.
Furthermore, thanks to the generosity and support of the players and sponsors, we made over $20,000 to put towards Family Life's services.
Everyone had the chance to win great prizes on offer, which were donated by a number of golf courses and local businesses.

A special thank you must go to Vortex Air - who donated a trip for 8 to Barnbougle Dunes Golf Course in northern Tasmania, including two days golf, one night accommodation plus flights to and from Moorabbin Airport! |
